Position: Per Diem
Location: Rochester Immediate Care – Greece location
Hours: Need to be flexible to meet center needs and every other weekend
Salary: TBD
Essential Job Functions:
PSR Responsibilities:
- Greets and registers all patients, provides direct assistance to patients and other visitors in the reception area.
- Verify patient demographics and processes appropriate forms to ensure accurate billing and receives payments on patient accounts; compares cash receipts and payments in balancing daily receipts, logging and securing payments according to policy.
MA Responsibilities:
- Assist the RN, PA, and Physician in patient care activities for in-take, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, vital signs, mini-mental assessments records data for medical record and calls in prescriptions to pharmacy as directed by the physician
- Determine, prepare and set-up medical supplies, instruments and equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Performs various laboratory testing, controls and additional duties as needed
- Complies with quality assurance, HIPAA, customer focus, infection control, safety and other policies as set forth
Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited certified Medical Assistant Program, or 2-3 years experience as a Medical Assistant or for LPN, need licensure

Current BLS validation required
Eligibility for current employees:
- In current position for at least six months of continuous service
- Performance and attendance is satisfactory
- Have not received written disciplinary action in last six months
- Must meet job qualifications listed on job posting
