POSITION DESCRIPTION
Experience NP or PA to work day shifts (7a to 7p) 4 days on/ 4 days off: Responsible for management of med/surg and/or ICU/CCU patients. Responsible for performing admission H&P exams on patients being admitted to hospitalist service. Responsible for providing medical consults to patients on the med/surg floors and emergency department. Rapid response team leader and code blue team leader. Respond to any in-house calls on patients not admitted to our service. ER physician is available for back up.
QUALIFICATIONS
Provider must have (or be willing to learn) the following skill set:
- Inpatient experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to run rapid response
- Ability to run code blue
- Central line placement
- Intubation insertion
- ACLS/FCCS certification
