Exigence of TEAMHealth is seeking a patient satisfaction oriented physician to join their team at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. The Emergency Department recently (2011) underwent MASSIVE renovations and we are seeking the right physician to join our team. Our ED is busy and has high acuity- the shifts fly by! Strong mentorship and growth opportunities available.
THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- Level III Trauma Center
- Designated Stroke Center
- New ED opened May 2010
- 28 ED beds, 6 Fast Track
- 42,000 annual census
- 36 hours of physician and 36 hours of midlevel coverage
- 12 hour shifts
- 18% admissions
- Established Hospitalist program
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Active New York State Medical License
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/Surgery with significant emergency experience
- ATLS, ACLS and PALS certification
